Kids Self-Defense

Our Kids Self-Defense class for 5-7 year old students, based in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Classes are taught in a fun, engaging format with kids learning a wide range of skills, both social and technical:

• Proven Self-Defense techniques to help protect themselves against larger, stronger opponents
• Understanding of personal space and confidence to set boundaries
• Learn how to work with other kids in controlled settings, pushing each other to improve while staying safe and respecting one another
• Developing fitness as well as teamwork and communication through games and exercises
• Getting a sample of both striking and grappling martial arts, so that they know whether they would like to pursue Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing or both when they turn 8 and graduate into our Junior programs
• Opportunities to compete in a wide range of tournaments
